A family business
Founded in 1975 by Claire Guérin Martinez and Damian Martinez (1944-2014), Boulangerie DJ Martinez is a family-owned business. Of their six children, Miguel and Dolores have made the jump into the family business.
After studying at the Institut de tourisme et d'hôtellerie du Québec (ITCHQ), Miguel has worked for several years as an apprentice with his father. He is now Boulanger en chef. Dolores studied and worked for many years in Edmonton, Ottawa and Montreal. She currently supervises the pastries and cakes. As for Claire, she is still working at making the best products in town!
